At Village Roadshow Theme Parks, we aim for every guest’s visit to be an exciting, fun-filled and unforgettable experience. The following information is to assist our guests with planning their visit to the park and maximising their enjoyment of our facilities. Guests will find specific advice for individuals with disabilities, injuries and medical conditions, along with general park policies and guidelines. We are committed to providing a safe environment and we work closely with the manufacturers of our attractions to safely and efficiently accommodate the needs of our guests where possible. We recommend that guests contact our Guest Services team in advance to discuss any special requirements prior to visiting.

Is Wet’n’Wild wheelchair accessible
Guests with any special needs should visit Guest Services upon arrival and our friendly team will provide assistance in planning their day. Guest Services located along the pathway to the left at entry, provide wheelchair priority access to the park. All Village Roadshow Theme Parks offer parking for guests with disabilities. Limited wheelchair hire is available at all parks, however, during peak periods we recommend calling ahead to Guest Services to book in advance of your visit.
At Wet’n’Wild, we have ground level cabanas specifically for wheelchair access. All theme parks have more information on Accessibility on their websites at (see links below)

Where can I get first aid at Wet'n'Wild?
First Aid is located next to Guest Services at the front of the park.
Do I need to be a strong swimmer to come to Wet'n'Wild?
The pools and slides at Wet‘n’Wild are designed to be fun for people of all ages. Please be aware height and weight restrictions apply as per our website and attraction signage throughout the park. Guests with injuries or disabilities are required to visit Guest Services for accessibility. Please always follow the directions of our lifeguards , as safety is our number one priority. Children 10 years and under can enjoy the slides and shallow pool areas at Wet‘n’Wild Junior. Please remember it is always your responsibility to supervise your children.
How much does it cost to hire a stroller or wheelchair at Wet'n'Wild?
Standard Stroller
$20.00 non-refundable hire fee. The hire fees include GST and is per day or part thereof. These strollers are intended for children from 6 months of age, up to 15kg in weight and under 100cm in height.
Wheelchair
Wheelchair hire is complimentary.
A form of ID is required. A limited number of wheelchairs are available so we recommend you pre-book with Guest Services. The hire fees include GST and is per day or part thereof.
What tickets are available for companions of guests with disabilities or special needs?
Guests who produce a Companion Card (companioncard.gov.au/) are entitled to one (1) free of charge Companion Ticket so that their companion can provide care and support during the visit. Companion tickets are available at the Front Gate Admissions booths only on presentation of the card on the day of the visit. Please refer to Conditions of Entry for further information. Guests who produce a Carer’s Card issued by relevant State or Commonwealth authorities (as opposed to a Companion Card) will be entitled to a discounted admission rate on presentation of the card at the park Admission booths. Rates are available for holders of a State or Commonwealth authority's Disability Pension card at the ticket booths on the day of your visit upon card presentation. Guests with any special needs should visit Guest Services upon arrival and our friendly team will provide assistance in planning their day. All Village Roadshow Theme Parks offer parking for guests with disabilities. Parking
Reserved parking is available in the first row of the car park for guests whose vehicles display a Disability Parking Permit. These spaces are clearly marked with the International Disabilities Symbol. There is suitable drop off and pick up spacing located on the right-hand side of the entry ramp.
In Park Services
Guest Services Guest Services is located at the front of the park and offer a range of services from Wheelchair Hire, Attraction accessibility, guest relations, height checks and can offer any further assistance for our guest needs. Guest Services can provide communication bands for guests who present and require assistance with attraction accessibility. This communication wristband will work as a communication device between Guest Services and all attractions. Guest Services can assist guests who may have difficulty waiting in queues. Companion card holders are issued a companion service wristband for priority access to selected rides. Upon presentation with a physical companion card at Guest Services, a ride suitability discussion will take place to determine whether a companion is required to ride select attractions. First Aid First Aiders staff Wet‘n’Wild’s First Aid Centre. Any personal medical equipment, for example ventilators, may be stored and used at First Aid. First Aid does not supply such equipment for everyday use. Medicine that needs refrigeration may also be stored at First Aid. All Village Roadshow Theme Parks have an AED (Automatic Defibrillator) on site. Lockers Locker hire is available from various shopping and dining outlets. If you require an accessible locker, please see our staff at the Surf Shop and they will be happy to arrange this for you.
Quiet Zones We understand that sometimes guests may need a break from the stress and stimulation of the theme park. There are several areas of the park where music, sounds and activity are reduced. Please chat with our friendly Guest Services team for guidance on what areas may be best
Dining and Shopping
All eateries and shops are accessible by wheelchair. Should you have specific dietary requirements please contact Guest Services prior to or during your visit.
Guests are able to bring in food and drink to Wet'n'Wild, as picnic and BBQ facilities are provided. Fast track is available at selected attractions in peak season only.
The following are NOT permitted: Commercially prepared food and drink, alcohol, sharp knives and glassware.
Is eye wear permitted?
In accordance with Australian Standard 3533.2 (2009) for the safety of all guests, eye wear including goggles and prescription glasses are not permitted on any of our rides or slides. However, these items may be worn in the Wave Pool, Calypso Beach, Whirlpool Springs and Wet'n'Wild Junior pool areas.
Assistance Animals
Assistance Animals are welcome; however, for safety reasons they are not permitted to ride attractions. Assistance Animals must be on a lead, not left unattended and wear vests that identify their role. Guests with an Assistance Animal may be asked to provide evidence that their animal is an Assistance Animal. If sufficient evidence is not provided, we may restrict entry.

Translink Assistance Animal pass or interstate equivalent.
Non-accredited Assistance Animals:
Training organisation information for verification of training and hygiene standards (subject to VRTP review)

Current vaccination status of the Assistance Animal
If sufficient evidence is not provided, we have the right to restrict entry to any animals, where it is reasonably necessary to protect public health or the health of other animals in our care.

Guests with medically related dietary requirements
Guests who require specific medically related dietary requirements can bring their own food to the park upon presentation of medical documentation. Should you have specific dietary requirements please contact Guest Services prior to or during your visit.
Guests with Disabilities, medical conditions and injuries
Guests with any special needs should visit Guest Services upon arrival and our friendly team will assist in planning their day. Guests with casts and strapped limbs As we have a duty of care to our guests, we do not allow any guest with a visible injury, such as a hard cast supports, to ride any of the water slides. Guests with such injuries are permitted to utilise the Wave Pool, Whirlpool Springs, Calypso Beach, and if under 10 yrs of age, lagoon areas at Wet'n'Wild Junior. As supports vary, our Guest Services team assist guests with plan their day on an individual basis and determine which attractions can be undertaken safely in accordance with manufacturers and management guidelines. Guests with an amputation or prosthesis For safety reasons, guests with an amputated limb or prosthesis may be unable to utilise selected attractions. As situations vary, our Guest Services team will assist guests to plan their day on an individual basis and determine which attractions can be undertaken safely in accordance with manufacturers and management guidelines. Guests with Epilepsy and motion sickness select attractions are not recommended for guests with Epilepsy, motion sickness or those who experience seizures. We suggest you contact Guest Services prior or visit the office upon arrival. As situations vary, our Guest Services team assist guests to plan their day on an individual basis and determine which attractions can be undertaken safely.
For safety reasons, guest height must be accurately measured to ensure the minimum/maximum height requirement for each ride is met. Guests with physical conditions that prevent an accurate height measurement to be taken in park can call Guest Services for advice on how we can assist you.
Guests with an amputation or prosthesis
For safety reasons, guests with an amputated limb or prosthesis may be unable to use some of our attractions. As situations vary, our Guest Services team assist guests to plan their day on an individual basis and determine which attractions can be undertaken safely. This can be done on the day you attend Wet’n’Wild or prior to by visiting or contacting our Guest Services office on 07 5556 1610.
Bathrooms with enhanced accessibility
Wheelchair accessible toilets are located thought out the park and allow for standard wheelchair access. Bathrooms with enhanced accessibility are located at: • The Main Entrance, offering an accessible toilet and shower. • Wet’n’Wild Junior, offering an accessible toilet and shower. • H2Oasis, offering an accessible toilet and shower. • H2Oasis female bathroom, which offers an ambulant toilet. • First Aid, which offers an accessible toilet, shower, and adult changing bench. Width Clearance for these bathrooms are 85cm.
Are assistance animals permitted entry to the park?
Guide, Hearing and Assistance Dogs are welcome in the park. However we cannot permit them on, or in, any of our attractions and they must wear their working vest identifying their role at all times.
